Individual ticket sales
These terms and conditions are applicable as of 1 January 2024
Article 1: Purpose
This document establishes the terms and conditions associated with the purchase of individual tickets on the specific pages of the website https://museechassenature.tickeasy.com for the Museum for Hunting and Nature, a legal entity of the François Sommer Foundation, whose main offices are located at 60, rue des Archives, 75003 Paris, registered under Siret number 784 226 763 00018, hereinafter referred to as “Museum for Hunting and Nature.” These contractual terms apply automatically and unconditionally to all ticketing orders and purchases made at the ticket counter or online. The Museum for Hunting and Nature reserves the right to adapt or change these general terms and conditions of sale at any time. The applicable terms are those in force upon the day of purchase.
The customer acknowledges to have read and understood these general terms and conditions of sale prior to confirming their order. The confirmation of the order constitutes the customer’s acceptance of general terms and conditions of sale without exception.
Article 2: Information about individual tickets for sale
The tickets for sale online are as follows:
• “Single admission” permanent collection: full rate, discount rate, free admission
• “Double admission” permanent collection and temporary exhibitions: full rate, discount rate, free admission
• “Guided tour”: full rate, free admission
• “Discovery tour”: full rate, free admission
• “Workshop tour”: full rate, free admission
• “Night visit”: full rate, discount rate, free admission
• “Conference”: full rate, discount rate, free admission
• Some events can be attended for free upon presentation of a valid museum admission pass while there are still available spots.
Depending on the programme schedule at the moment, specific tickets can be offered for sale online and the terms in this document apply automatically.
Admission to the areas in the Museum for Hunting and Nature (permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions according to the period) is free on the first Sunday of the month although reservations for admission must be made.
Article 3: Ticket prices
Ticket prices are as shown on the website at the time they are ordered. The mentioned prices are in euros and net of taxes.
A €0.50 per ticket processing fee is applied. The total price when the order is confirmed, with processing fees included, is the definitive price, with all taxes included. This price is listed in the order confirmation email and the order summary.
The prices of the Museum for Hunting and Nature are established, subject to modifications. In case of modification, the applicable prices are those in force at the time the order is recorded.
The museum offers several prices that are based on the type of visit or activity as well as the age or status of the beneficiary given admission. Visitors who might receive a discount price or free admission must present an I.D. and the required documents at the point of admission to the museum collections.
The tickets, except those relating to activities offered in the auditorium (“Night Visit,” “Conference”), have a priority-access option.
Article 4: Ordering, payment and confirmation
Customers must connect to the website https://museechassenature.tickeasy.com and then select an activity, a date and time. They must then connect to their personal space or create one. Customers then proceed with the payment operation. A confirmation email is sent to them and then another email is sent containing the tickets in PDF format. They can also print out the tickets from their personal space or store them on their smartphone.
All of the individual tickets are also for sale at the ticket counter in the museum during its hours of operation. Ticket purchases over the phone are not possible. Discount tickets or free admission can be acquired at the ticket counter upon presentation of the proper documentation.
Customers can select one of the following ticket payment options:
• Online: credit or debit card payments only. The debit/credit card data is only kept during the time it takes to process the order (Carte Bleue, Visa, Master).
• At the ticket counter: debit/credit cards (Carte Bleue, Visa, Master), cheques made out in euros, for security reasons for cashier staff, cash is not accepted. Ca Do cheques, culture cheques or holiday vouchers are not accepted.
The Museum for Hunting and Nature uses Payzen services for all payments made on the website https://museechassenature.tickeasy.com, which secures the payment through encryption applied to the customer’s card number.
Your ticket order is only completely valid and confirmed and binding for the Museum for Hunting and Nature when the email confirming that the order has been validated is received.
The confirmation email acknowledges receipt of the order and contains a link to the customer’s personal space where the ticket can be downloaded. The customer receives a second email containing the tickets in PDF format.
Article 5: Obtaining the tickets
The individual tickets will be issued on the customer’s personal space. They need to be downloaded onto a smartphone or printed on white A4 paper. The barcodes and indications must be clear and readable.
For purchases made at the ticket counter, the tickets are given directly to the customer.
Article 6: Ticket terms of use
Every ticket is systematically checked at the entrance to the collections, workshops and activities. Tickets are for personal use only and non-transferable.
The ticket must be kept until the end of the visit or event and may be checked at any time.
Non-thermal tickets must be presented either on the customer’s smartphone or as a physical copy, printed on white A4 paper, with the clear, readable barcodes and indications. Any partially printed, stained, damaged or unreadable tickets will not be accepted.
Any discount ticket or free ticket of admission must be presented with the documented proof for the discount or free admission.
The ticket is only valid for the stated activity and period when it is ordered.
In case of non-compliance with one of these aforementioned terms in this article, the Museum for Hunting and Nature reserves the right to refuse admission to the visit or events in question.
In the event customers want to take a guided tour of the Museum for Hunting and Nature with a guide from outside the museum, they must reserve their tour on visite@chassenature.org.
The Museum for Hunting and Nature reserves the right to regulate museum admissions according to the volume of visitors in order to comply with safety restrictions.
Article 7: Fraudulent use.
It is strictly forbidden to duplicate or forge a ticket in any way whatsoever.
Any person who illegally reproduces a ticket and/or uses a forged ticket may be liable to criminal prosecution.
The Museum for Hunting and Nature shall refuse admission to the site at any time for any person possessing a ticket with a barcode that has already been scanned.
It is strictly forbidden to transfer a ticket at a higher price than the price shown on the ticket.
Article 8: Lost and stolen tickets
The Museum for Hunting and Nature cannot be held liable in case of lost or stolen tickets, including within the grounds of the museum.
Article 9: Retractions, reimbursement and cancellation
These terms of retraction, reimbursement and cancellation are applicable to all the tickets sold by the Museum for Hunting and Nature.
In Accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, tickets issued by the Museum for Hunting and Nature are not subject to retraction rights.
Tickets purchased online cannot be reimbursed, returned or exchanged even in the event where the customer has not used the ticket, except in cases where the Museum for Hunting and Nature cancels the corresponding event or activity.
In the case where an event is definitively cancelled, a reimbursement will only be made in favour of the initial buyer upon return of the ticket.
Only the price of the ticket will be reimbursed, excluding the processing fee that the Museum for Hunting and Nature keeps. No ancillary fees of any kind (cancellation insurance, transport, accommodation, parking, etc.) will be reimbursed or compensated.
Furthermore, to be admissible, reimbursement requests must be accompanied by up-to-date bank account transfer information within 2 months maximum after the event’s cancellation (for auditorium events, workshops or guided tours).
Any request that does not satisfy these conditions will be rejected.
In the event that the event is postponed, the Museum for Hunting and Nature will offer ticket refunds or move the ticket date forward to the event’s new date.
Article 10: Ticket collection methods
Buyers can collect tickets through automatic ticketing machines or at the ticket counter, Tuesday through Sunday, during operating hours at the Museum for Hunting and Nature located at 62 rue des Archives, 75003 Paris.
Article 11: Customer service
For any information or questions concerning use of the online ticketing site htpps://chassenature.tickeasy.com, ticket terms of use as well as ticket ordering, issuing or reimbursement methods, customers can contact: visite@chassenature.org
Article 12: Liability
The Museum for Hunting and Nature shall not be held liable for any failed or poor execution of the services giving rise to the right of admission, which would be attributed to the customer, an unforeseen or unavoidable act of a third party or a case of force majeure as defined under Article 1218 of the Civil Code.
Article 13: Data processing concerning the customer
The nominative information collected from customers is necessary for processing their orders and drafting the tickets and invoices.
Collected personal data is processed in accordance with the provisions of the amended Computing and Liberties law from 6 January 1978.
Customers are informed that this authorised processing of information was subject to a declaration with the CNIL and they have the right of access, rectification and removal, which can be exercised through: the Fondation François Sommer, Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature - Service RGPD - 60, rue des Archives – 75003 PARIS
Article 14: Contractual documents
The contract consists of the following contractual documents:

– the list of rates, discounts and free admission
Article 15: Entire contract
If, for any reason, one of these general terms and conditions should be declared inapplicable, this inapplicability shall not affect the application of the other provisions of the general terms and conditions, with the provision that has been declared inapplicable replaced by the closest possible provision.
Article 16: Governing law – settlement of disputes
The contract is governed by French law.
In case of dispute or complaint, the buyer shall first contact the museum to find an amiable solution. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Paris courts.
